The Hirose FX10A-80S/8-SV(71) is an 80-position receptacle from the FunctionMax™ FX10 series, built for parallel board-to-board stacking. The 0.020" (0.50mm) pitch packs 80 contacts into two rows, with the receptacle designed to mate with the matching FX10 header to achieve a mated stack height of either 4mm or 5mm — the two heights are selectable depending on which header variant is used. Surface-mount termination keeps the assembly compatible with standard reflow processes. The housing integrates a board guide for alignment during pick-and-place, a ground plate for EMI containment, and solder retention features that anchor the connector against reflow tombstoning and vibration shear after assembly.
