Board-Level Fit and Stack Height
The Hirose FX11LA-92S-SV(21) is a 92-position receptacle with center strip contacts, part of the FX11 series of fine-pitch board-to-board connectors. It uses a 0.020" (0.50mm) pitch across two rows, and the mated stacking height is fixed at 2mm — that z-height is determined by the mating plug, not adjustable. The receptacle sits 0.065" (1.65mm) above the board surface, which means the total stack from the bottom of one PCB to the top of the other is exactly 2mm when mated with the correct Hirose FX11 plug. This is a tight, low-profile interconnect for parallel board stacking in compact electronics.
Contact and Termination Details
At 92 positions, this is a mid-to-high density option in the FX11 family. The same 0.50mm pitch and 2mm stacking height is shared with the 68-position FX11LA-68S-SV(21) and the 140-position FX11LA-140S-SV(22). The choice comes down to how many signal lines you need to route across the board-to-board interface. There is also a variant with a ground plate — the FX11LA-80S/8-SV(92) — which adds a dedicated ground plane for improved signal integrity in noisy environments, though at 80 positions rather than 92.
The product status is Active, so it remains in regular production with no announced end-of-life.
