Board-Stacking Selection: 140 Circuits at 0.60mm Pitch
Mated stacking heights are fixed at 3mm and 4mm, so the gap between parallel PCBs is determined by this choice — no shimming or standoff adjustment after the fact. The SMT termination suits reflow assembly, but the 140 circuits mean the paste stencil and reflow profile must be dialed in for the dense pad array.
Stack Height and Footprint Constraints
When mated with the corresponding FX8 header, the total stack between boards is either 3mm or 4mm — the header height is the complement. This is a hard constraint: if your enclosure or card cage has a fixed gap, verify which stack height your mating header provides. The board guide feature is not cosmetic — it aligns the two halves during mating and prevents the fine-pitch contacts from stubbing or bending. Without it, the 0.60mm pitch leaves almost no margin for misalignment during blind mating.
