Board-to-Board Mezzanine Interconnect
The Hirose FunctionMax™ FX8C-100S-SV5(93) is a 100-position receptacle with center strip contacts, designed for parallel board stacking in mezzanine architectures. Its 0.024" (0.60mm) pitch packs 100 signal lines into a compact footprint — the density demands careful board routing but frees up real estate on the PCB. The connector supports mated stacking heights of 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm, giving the layout engineer flexibility to set the board-to-board gap without changing the footprint. Gold contact finish on both rows ensures stable contact resistance across repeated mating cycles, and the integrated board guide aligns the connector during SMT placement, reducing tombstoning risk on a 100-position part.
