The Hirose FX8C-120S-SV(71) is a 120-position receptacle from the FunctionMax™ FX8C series, designed for board-to-board mezzanine interconnects. It uses a 0.024" (0.60mm) pitch in a 2-row, center strip contact arrangement — the tight pitch packs 120 signal lines into a compact footprint, which sets the routing density for the PCB layout. The connector is surface-mount terminated, suited for reflow assembly on high-density boards.
Stack height flexibility: 5 mm to 11 mm
This receptacle supports mated stacking heights of 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 9 mm, and 11 mm when paired with the matching FunctionMax™ FX8C header. The range covers common mezzanine gaps from tight 5 mm card-to-card spacing up to 11 mm where component keep-outs or airflow channels sit between boards.
