The FX8C-60S-SV5(91) supports five mated stacking heights: 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm. That range lets a single board layout accommodate different mezzanine card spacings by swapping the plug side only — useful when the same baseboard serves multiple daughtercard heights. The 8.95mm height above board is the receptacle's own profile; the total stack comes from the plug height.
How the 0.60mm pitch drives the board layout
At 0.60mm pitch, trace escape from the inner rows needs micro-vias or staggered via patterns — standard through-hole vias won't fit between pads. The 2-row arrangement puts 60 signals in a roughly 18mm body length, so the keep-out zone on the board is narrow. The SMT tails are reflow-soldered; the board guide takes the shear load during mating so the solder joints don't absorb misalignment.
