The Hirose GT13SHA-2/1PP-DS is a 3-port coaxial receptacle from the GT13 series, designed as a board-mount RF interconnect. It carries male center pins in a right-angle through-hole package, with a 50 Ohm characteristic impedance and a rated frequency ceiling of 1 GHz. The gray PBT housing includes both a board lock for solder-joint retention and a mounting flange for additional mechanical stability against cable strain. This is the board-side half — it mates with a corresponding plug assembly carrying female center contacts.
The 30 mating cycles tell you this is a semi-permanent interconnect: it is designed for one or two matings during assembly and occasional field service, not repeated disconnect-reconnect cycles. Tin plating on the center contacts is adequate for the low cycle count and keeps cost down, but if your application demands gold for corrosion resistance in a harsh environment, this is not the right contact finish.
The mounting flange adds a second mechanical tie point, useful if the connector sees repeated cable flex or if the board is panel-mounted.
