The JAE GT16GW-1P-HU is a single-position waterproof housing in the GT16 series, built for sealing a one-circuit connection in harnesses that see moisture or washdown. The black PBT body carries the waterproof feature, which means this housing is meant to be paired with a sealed mating half and the correct M terminal to keep water out of the splice. If you are running a single sensor wire or a drain line through an enclosure bulkhead, this is the housing that keeps the crimp joint dry.
This housing is designed for use with M terminals — that is the only confirmed contact family. The M terminal is a crimp-style contact, so the harness build uses a standard crimp press with the correct M-series applicator. No board mount, no solder; this is a wire-to-wire or wire-to-device interconnect. The single cavity accepts one terminal, and the waterproof seal is integral to the housing, not a separate grommet.
