Coaxial receptacle for board-edge RF or signal interconnect
The Hirose GT21-1P-DS is a single-port coaxial receptacle with a male center pin, part of the GT21 series. The 30 mating cycles tell you this is a set-and-forget interconnect — not a port for frequent plug/unplug duty.
Termination and mating checklist
The dielectric material is polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), which holds up to the reflow and wave-solder profile without distortion. Confirm the mating half is a GT21-series plug with the correct keyway; the receptacle is a male-pin type, so the plug carries the female contact. The board lock snaps into the PCB hole and holds the connector upright during soldering. After solder, the lock anchors the body against the cable strain that would otherwise lever the solder joints.
