The Hirose GT5-1P/S-R(35) is a secondary-lock retainer for the GT5 series of wire-to-board connectors. Installation and Fit
This retainer is designed for use with GT5 series housings — the For Use With field confirms compatibility across the GT5 housing family. It slides into the housing after the terminals are crimped and inserted, then snaps into a locked position to trap the terminal lances. The GT5-1P/S-R(35) is the single-position variant; for multi-circuit harnesses the 2-position (GT5-2P/S-R) and 4-position (GT5-4P/S-R) retainers cover the other circuit counts. The gray color distinguishes it from other retainers in the series during assembly and inspection.
