1-Position Keyed Housing for F Terminals
The Hirose GT5-1S-HU(A) is a 1-position housing from the GT5 series, designed as a receptacle for F-series crimp terminals. The keyed body prevents accidental mis-mating — a practical safeguard when you're building harnesses with multiple similar connectors on the same cable bundle. The brown PBT body gives you a visual cue on the line, distinct from the gray (GT5-1S-HU(35)), blue (GT5-1S-HU(C)), or green (GT5-1S-HU(B)) siblings, so you can color-code your harness runs without adding tape or heat shrink.
This housing accepts F terminals — the matching crimp contacts that go into the GT5 plug or header. The single-position cavity is keyed, so the terminal can only insert one way; that saves you from having to back out a mis-seated contact after the wire is dressed.
