GT5 Series Housing for M Terminal Systems
The JST GT5N-1PP-HU is a connector housing from the GT5 series, molded in gray Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). It is designed as a receptacle housing for use with JST M terminals, making it the wire-side mating half in a wire-to-wire or wire-to-board interconnect system. The PBT body provides good dimensional stability and chemical resistance for general-purpose industrial and consumer electronic harness applications.
Terminal Compatibility and Harness Assembly
This housing accepts JST M-series crimp terminals, which are inserted and retained by an internal locking lance. The M terminal system supports wire gauges typical for signal-level and moderate power circuits in compact connectors. During harness assembly, verify the terminal part number against the wire size and ensure full insertion until the lance engages — an incomplete seat causes intermittent contact in the field.
