Board-Mount RF Receptacle for H.FL Series
The Hirose H.FL-R-SMT(C)(10) is a surface-mount receptacle in the H.FL series, configured as a male pin interface. The Snap-On fastening gives a positive retention without the turn of a threaded coupling — quick to mate on the line, and the single-port layout keeps the footprint small.
The 3 GHz max frequency is the practical bandwidth ceiling for this interface. Push it past 3 GHz and the VSWR climbs; the connector itself isn't the limit, it's the transition from the coax to the microstrip. For sub-3 GHz work — WiFi, Bluetooth, ISM-band radios — this is a clean drop-in. The 50 mating cycles per the spec mean the connector is rated for the life of the product, not for frequent field reconnection; if you need a test port that gets cycled weekly, look at a threaded SMA instead.
SMT Termination and Assembly Fit
On the pick-and-place line, the black LCP housing gives optical contrast for vision systems. The Tape & Reel and Cut Tape packaging options cover both volume reflow and prototype runs. No press-fit or through-hole option here; the SMT-only footprint means the board must have a clean solder-paste stencil and a reflow profile that doesn't exceed the 90°C operating ceiling during the cool-down phase.
Active lifecycle — no end-of-life notice on record. No official second-source cross-reference exists, but the H.FL-R-SMT(10) is a functional peer with the same footprint and electricals if the BOM allows a centre-contact material change. For volume commitments, lead time is quoted per request.
