The Hirose HR30-6P-6S(31) is a 6-position circular plug with female sockets, part of the HR30 series designed for rugged, sealed interconnects in industrial, marine, and medical equipment. It carries an IP67/IP68 rating — dust-tight and submersible — making it suitable for washdown zones, deck machinery, and portable medical devices that see regular cleaning or wet exposure.
The 6 positions are designated as power contacts, but the 2 A limit means each circuit handles low-level switching or sensor feedback, not motor drives. The push-pull fastening type with a coupling nut and backshell provides positive locking without tools, and the keyed orientation prevents cross-mating in multi-connector panels.

This plug mates with the HR30 series receptacle that has male pins — the mating half is the HR30-6P-6P(31) (6-position, male pins, same shell size 6). If you need fewer circuits, the HR30-6P-3S(31) is a 3-position version in the same shell, but it's rated 5 A per contact — higher current per circuit because the contact density is lower. The HR30-6PA-6S(71) is a 6-position variant with a tighter cable opening (3.50 mm to 4.30 mm) and tray packaging instead of bulk; otherwise the specs are nearly identical. None of these are direct replacements — match the position count and cable diameter to your harness.
