The Hirose HRFC-P8-L2(60) is a simplex fiber optic plug in the HRFC series, terminated with an Advanced PC Polished ferrule. It accepts fiber with a 9.5µm/50µm core diameter and 125µm cladding diameter, meaning it handles both single-mode and multimode fiber through the same connector body. The boot is purple and the strain relief is rated for a 2.0mm cable diameter — check that your cable jacket OD is within that limit before terminating. For use with HSC ferrules, the Advanced PC polish gives a flat physical contact surface that keeps back reflection low for data links.
