JR16WCC-10(71) Cable Clamp for JR-W Series Plug
The Hirose JR16WCC-10(71) is a cable clamp accessory for the JR-W series of circular connectors, shell size 16. It provides strain relief and environmental sealing at the cable entry point of the mating plug. The clamp is threaded M20x0.75 and accepts cables up to 0.394" (10.00mm) in diameter.
What's in the Kit
The package includes five pieces: one cable clamp body, one gasket, two screws, and one washer. The gasket is the sealing element that, when compressed between the clamp and the plug backshell, achieves the IP67 rating. The screws and washer secure the clamp to the plug. Thread and Cable Entry
The M20x0.75 thread is a metric fine-pitch thread that mates with the corresponding thread on the JR-W series plug backshell. The 0.75 mm pitch is finer than standard M20 (1.5 mm), so verify the plug's thread specification before assembly. The cable opening of 0.394" (10.00mm) is the maximum cable jacket diameter that can pass through the clamp; for cables with a larger OD, a different clamp size or series is needed.
