The Hirose TM11AP-88P is an 8p8c (RJ45, Ethernet) modular plug from the TM11P series, rated Cat3. It terminates round cable with a crimp connection and accepts 26-27 AWG solid or stranded conductors. The translucent-clear polycarbonate housing lets you verify conductor positioning through the body before crimping.

The Cat3 rating limits this plug to 16 MHz signaling, suitable for 10BASE-T and 100BASE-T4 Ethernet, voice (POTS), and RS-232 serial links. It is not rated for Cat5e (100 MHz) or Cat6 (250 MHz) applications — using it on higher-category cable will fail certification for data rates above 10 Mbps.
