TM-DS Series Modular Jack — 4p4c Right-Angle Through-Hole
The Hirose TM5RF1-44(50) is a 4p4c (RJ9, RJ10, RJ22) modular jack from the TM-DS series, terminated in a right-angle through-hole solder configuration. It carries gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts in a single-row, single-port layout, with a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) housing. Board locks and panel stops provide mechanical retention against vibration and ensure consistent alignment when mounted to a panel or PCB edge. The 4p4c interface is the standard for handset cords and some telecom/data peripherals — the same footprint as a 4-position RJ22 plug.
