What This U.FL Connector Does in the RF Path

The 6 GHz max frequency means this connector handles 5 GHz Wi-Fi, GPS L-band, and ISM-band signals with headroom, but it is not rated for millimeter-wave applications above 6 GHz. The beige LCP dielectric body holds the impedance stable across the -40°C to 90°C operating range, so the connector performs consistently whether it sits in a cold outdoor radio or a warm indoor access point.
SMT Assembly and Board Layout Notes
