50 Ohm U.FL Jack for Compact RF Interconnects
The Hirose UM-QJ-1.5VCR3A(40) is a U.FL (UMCC) series jack with a male pin contact, designed for 50 Ohm nominal impedance RF signal paths. This free-hanging, in-line connector uses a snap-on fastening mechanism for quick, tool-less mating in tight spaces. Rated to 2 GHz maximum frequency, it suits short-range wireless modules, GPS antennas, and internal RF cabling where board space is at a premium. The kit includes the connector and a heat shrink tube for strain relief and insulation over the solder termination.
Rated for 1000 mating cycles, this jack handles repeated connect-disconnect duty in field-service or test-fixture applications without degrading the gold-plated centre contact. The brass body with nickel finish and PTFE dielectric maintain consistent impedance across the band.
Solder Termination with Included Heat Shrink
The centre contact terminates via solder, and the shield is crimped for a reliable ground connection. The kit includes a heat shrink tube that slides over the solder joint after termination, providing strain relief and electrical insulation. This is a single-port, 1-circuit jack — match the circuit count to your BOM line for one RF channel.
