This plug mates with a standard USB micro B receptacle. The 5-contact pinout follows the micro USB specification: VBUS, D-, D+, ID, and GND. The ID pin is left unconnected in standard USB 2.0 operation; it's used for On-The-Go host negotiation. Termination is solder — the contacts are soldered directly to the cable conductors. No crimp option on this plug; it's a one-piece molded assembly with the cable, typically part of a pre-terminated cable assembly. For field repair, you'd replace the entire cable rather than re-pin the connector.
