This plug supports both Surface Mount, Right Angle and Through Hole mounting, with a horizontal mounting feature. The dual-mount design lets board layout engineers choose between a full SMT reflow process for the right-angle version or a through-hole anchor for additional mechanical retention. Termination is solder in both cases.
