25-Pin D-Sub Plug for Cable Harness Assembly
The JAE DB-25PR is a 25-position D-Sub plug with male pins, built for terminating cable assemblies via solder cups. It's the male half of a standard DB-25 interconnect — mates with the DB-25SR receptacle (female sockets) for a full shielded pair.
What the 5 A Rating and Temperature Range Mean for Your Build
The glass-filled polyamide dielectric holds its shape through wave solder and field rework.
Solder Cup Termination and Panel Mounting
Termination is solder cup — you strip 20 AWG wire, tin it, and solder into the cup on the back of each pin. No crimp tool needed, which makes field repair straightforward, but it does mean each joint is manual and takes time on a 25-position connector. The shell itself is steel with clear chromate — it grounds through the mounting hardware and the mating interface, so make sure your panel bond is clean.
