Mating and termination
This is the board-side male pin header — it mates with the matching VH series receptacle housing and crimp terminal on the wire side. The locking ramp on the header body engages the receptacle latch to resist accidental disengagement. Through-hole solder termination requires a properly profiled solder pad on the PCB; the 0.146" (3.70 mm) post length supports solder fillet formation. The 0.370" (9.40 mm) insulation height gives visual standoff and helps confirm full insertion depth on the production floor.
