What it is
The JST B9P-VH-FB-B(LF)(SN) is a 9-circuit, single-row header in the VH series with a 0.156" (3.96 mm) pitch — the same contact spacing as its series peers, but built inside a four-wall shroud that fully encloses the mating interface. Tin-plated copper alloy contacts are rated 10 A per circuit at 250 V, and the locking ramp fastening keeps the mated pair secured against vibration. The board guide feature on the housing aids alignment during through-hole assembly so the pins locate cleanly before solder reflow.
What the ratings mean for the fit
At 10 A per circuit the contacts handle power-distribution taps at the board edge as well as signal-level duties — the 250 V rating covers most low-voltage AC or DC distribution rails.
