Overview
The PAP-05V-S is the 5-position member of JST's PA series receptacle housing line, a free-hanging in-line housing with latch-lock fastening. It uses a 0.079" (2.00mm) pitch, single-row layout, and accepts female socket contacts terminated by crimp.

Within the PA series the PAP-05V-S carries 5 positions at 0.079" (2.00mm) pitch; the BHR-05VS-1 from the BH series also carries 5 positions but at 0.157" (4.00mm) pitch — the wider pitch of the BH series provides greater creepage distance for higher-voltage applications.
