IDC termination for 26 AWG discrete wire — no crimp tool needed, but the wire OD must be within the slot tolerance for reliable insulation displacement. The socket accepts a single wire per position; the tin contact finish is adequate for low-cycle mating but will fret under repeated disconnect/reconnect in a vibration environment. Mates with the corresponding KRD series pin header (not included).
