The JST 02T-WPJV-1-SM is a 2-position plug housing from the WPJ series, designed for wire-to-wire interconnect in environments where moisture or splash exposure is a concern. It carries a JIS C 0920 Grade Level 7 ingress rating — essentially a splash-proof seal when mated with the matching receptacle and fitted with the correct crimp terminals and wire seals. The housing is natural PBT, glass-filled, and rated for -25°C to 85°C operation.
Mating Half and Contact Sourcing
This plug mates with the WPJ receptacle 02R-WPJV-1-SMM — same 5.00 mm pitch, same 2-position count, same latch-lock fastening. The two housings share identical material and ingress specs, so the mated pair holds the JIS C 0920 Grade 7 rating. Critical: the 02T-WPJV-1-SM ships as a bare housing only. The male pin crimp terminals must be ordered separately — no contacts are included in this package. Confirm the correct wire-gauge terminal for your harness before committing the BOM line.
Latch-Lock Retention for Vibration Duty
The latch holder fastening type provides audible positive lock when the plug is fully seated into the receptacle.
