JST WPJ 3-Position Sealed Plug, 5.00mm Pitch
The JST WPJ series 03T-WPJV-3-EM is a 3-position sealed plug, free-hanging (in-line), designed for wire-to-wire or wire-to-board applications where moisture ingress is a concern. It carries a JIS C 0920 Grade Level 7 rating, which means the mated assembly withstands temporary submersion — equivalent to an IP67-level seal, but only when fully mated and the latch holder is engaged.
Seal and Environmental Rating
The JIS C 0920 Grade Level 7 classification tells you the mated connector survives temporary immersion in water — think a washdown splash, a rainstorm, or a flooded junction box. The seal is only effective when the plug is fully mated with its counterpart and the latch holder is locked. Leave an unmated half exposed on the harness and the seal does nothing; cap the open half if the system sits unconnected between shifts.
This plug is supplied without contacts. The male crimp terminals and wire are sourced separately.
The 03T-WPJV-3-EM mates with the WPJ series receptacle housing. The latch holder provides positive locking.
