4-Position IDC Socket for 26 AWG Discrete Wire
The JST KRD series 04KR-D6S-P is a 4-position female socket designed for IDC termination to 26 AWG discrete wire.
Right-Angle Free-Hanging Orientation
This socket mounts free-hanging in-line with a right-angle cable exit — the wire exits perpendicular to the mating axis. That orientation saves space along the cable run in enclosures where a straight exit would hit a wall or another component.
Mating and Wire Termination
The 04KR-D6S-P mates with the corresponding KRD series pin header (male side). IDC termination means the wire insulation is pierced by the contact tines during assembly — no stripping or crimping required. The 26 AWG wire gauge is the specified size; using a different gauge risks poor contact or insulation damage.
