Product details

The JST 04SUR-32S is a 4-position, single-row receptacle from the SUR series, terminated via IDC (insulation displacement) to 32 AWG discrete wire. Its 0.031" (0.80 mm) pitch makes it one of the densest wire-to-board connectors in JST's SUR family — the tight pitch keeps the board footprint small but also means the wire bundle is tightly packed. The closed-end housing prevents over-insertion of the mating header, and the natural (uncolored) nylon body is typical for general-purpose internal harnesses.

The 0.80 mm pitch (0.031") sets the board layout pitch for the mating header. The IDC termination is fixed for 32 AWG only.

Frequently asked questions

What is the pin pitch of JST 04SUR-32S?

The pin pitch is 0.031" (0.80 mm), which is the tightest in the SUR series and drives the board footprint for the mating header.

What wire size is compatible with 04SUR-32S?

It is designed for 32 AWG discrete wire only — the IDC termination relies on that exact wire diameter to displace the insulation properly.
