The board-side pitch matches the cable pitch, so the footprint on the PCB is a straight line of six holes at 2.50 mm centers. The 06DB-6S(LF) is the 6-position variant in a series that runs from 6 to 64 positions; the 06DB-6S (without the LF suffix) is the same connector with a different plating or lead-free compliance marking, not a functional difference in fit.
Rated for 24-28 AWG stranded wire only — solid wire is not compatible with the IDC slot geometry. The closed-end housing means the cable stops at the back of the connector, so there is no cable pass-through for daisy-chaining.
