IDC Socket for 26 AWG Discrete Wire — 6-Position, 2.00mm Pitch
The JST 06KR-D6S-P is a 6-position IDC socket from the KRD series, terminated to 26 AWG discrete wire via insulation-displacement contacts. The 0.079" (2.00mm) pitch keeps the board footprint compact — each position lands on a 2.00mm centerline, which is the same spacing used on the mating KRD header. The tin-plated female socket contacts are rated for the wire gauge the IDC slot is sized for; tin is the standard finish for cost-sensitive internal harnesses where the connector mates a limited number of times over its service life.
