Product details

Pitch, positions, and ZIF lock

The 14FLZ-RSM2-TB(LF)(SN) is the 14-position member of JST's FLZ FFC/FPC connector series, built around a 0.50 mm pitch and a ZIF slide-lock actuator. Rated 0.5 A per contact at 50 V, the connector accepts 0.30 mm thick FFC or FPC with a tapered cable end and mates on the bottom side of the contact beam.

Board-fit and termination

Surface-mount right-angle orientation with solder termination and a solder retention feature holds the connector in place during reflow. The mated height above the board is 2.00 mm. Housing is natural polyamide (PA6T) rated UL94 V-0; the black actuator uses the same material. Tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts handle the signal path.

Frequently asked questions

What is the closest pin-compatible alternative in the FLZ series?

The FLZ series includes connectors at other position counts at the same 0.50 mm pitch and ZIF slide-lock format. A different position count requires a matching FFC/FPC width; the pitch and footprint are shared across the series.
