15-Position IDC Receptacle for 0.80 mm Pitch Harnesses
The JST 15SUR-32S is a 15-position IDC receptacle from the SUR series, terminated to discrete 32 AWG wire via the insulation displacement slot. The natural-colored housing accepts the mating SUR-series pin header (sold separately) and locks with the integral latch.
The closed-end feature prevents the wire from poking through the housing, which helps in tight enclosures where exposed conductor ends could short. Tin-plated female sockets are standard for this series; if you need higher mating-cycle life, check the gold-plated variant in the same SUR family.
Free-hanging (in-line) mount — no board lock, no panel clip. The receptacle mates with the SUR-series pin header that matches the same 0.80 mm pitch and 15-position count. The integral latch on the receptacle clicks over the header ramp for positive retention; it's not a screw-lock, but for a low-vibration indoor harness it holds fine.
