The housing and actuator are molded from UL94 V-0 rated polyamide (PA6T) material. The ZIF mechanism means the actuator is opened, the cable inserted, and the slide lock closed — no insertion force on the FPC pads, which reduces wear on the cable end in field-service or test-fixture applications.

Solder Retention and Reflow Fit
