JST 20R-JMDSS-G-1-TF — 0.50mm Pitch Mezzanine Receptacle, 20 Circuits
Mated stacking heights of 4.5mm, 5mm, and 6mm are supported, giving three board-spacing options from one receptacle.
At 0.50mm pitch, the trace routing between pads is tight — you'll need at least a 0.10mm trace/space capability on the PCB to route a signal between every other pad. The 0.122" (3.10mm) height above board keeps the profile low enough for tight enclosures.
Mating Connector and Stack Height Options
This receptacle mates with the JMD series plug, specifically the 20P-JMDSS-G-1-TF, which has outer shroud contacts. The mated pair gives you three stacking height choices: 4.5mm, 5mm, or 6mm — the height is set by the plug variant, not the receptacle. The 20-position count matches the 20P-JMDSS-G-1-TF plug exactly; the 30-position sibling (30R-JMDSS-G-1-TF(S)(LF)(SN)) is a different BOM line.
