Board-to-Board Stacking Plug for Tight Z-Height
The JST 30P3.0-JMCS-G-TF(N) is a 30-position plug from the JMC series, designed as the male half for parallel board-to-board stacking. The 0.020" (0.50mm) pitch packs 30 gold-plated contacts into a dual-row surface-mount footprint, with a mated stack height of 3mm — the tight z-height budget that drives the whole board spacing decision. Gold contact finish supports the repeated mate-and-unmate cycles common in test fixtures or modular assemblies where the connector sees field service.
The 3mm mated stack height is the dimension that decides the mezzanine spacer or the enclosure standoff; the receptacle half must match this same height for the pair to close. The outer shroud contacts on this plug wrap around the receptacle's inner contacts, which helps with alignment during blind mating but also means the footprint must clear the shroud outline — not just the solder pads.
