4-position 2.5mm pitch header with locking ramp
The B04B-XASK-1: This is a JST XA series male header, 4 positions on 2.50mm pitch, shrouded on all four walls, with a locking ramp that clicks into the mating receptacle housing. Rated 3 A per contact at 250 V, it's a through-hole part that terminates with a press-fit solder tail — the press-fit holds the pin in the board during wave solder, so you don't need a separate board lock.
What the locking ramp and 4-wall shroud do for the fit
The locking ramp engages with the matching XA receptacle housing to keep the pair mated under vibration — no screws or latches to forget. The 4-wall shroud protects the male pins from being bent during handling and guides the receptacle into alignment on mate. Mated stack height is 11.3mm, measured from the board surface to the top of the mated receptacle. The insulation height of 0.346" (8.80mm) leaves room for the receptacle to seat fully.
