12-Position, 1.50mm Pitch Header for Wire-to-Board
The B12B-ZR is a 12-position, single-row header from JST's ZH series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. The header is fully shrouded on four walls, protecting the male pins during mating and preventing bent contacts in production or field service. A detent lock on the housing provides a positive retention with the mating receptacle.
Current, Voltage, and Temperature Limits
Rated at 1 A per contact and 50 V, this header is suited for low-power signal or control circuits — not for power distribution.
Through-Hole Termination and Mating Height
The mated stacking height is 5.6mm, which sets the clearance between the PCB and the mating wire housing. Tin is adequate for moderate mating cycles in non-corrosive environments; for higher cycle life, consider the gold-plated variant B12B-ZR(LF)(SN).
