The four-wall shroud and locking ramp give it a positive mechanical latch that holds against vibration — a step up from a plain friction-lock header.
The 2.00mm pitch and dual-row layout with 14 positions loaded all give a 14.00mm overall pin span across the rows. The through-hole posts are 3.40mm long — standard for a 1.6mm board with a solder fillet.
Locking ramp and mating half
The locking ramp on the shroud mates with the corresponding latch on the PAD series receptacle housing. The board guide feature helps align the connector pair during blind mating.
