16-position locking header for wire-to-board
It's a shrouded, locking-ramp design meant for board-to-cable/wire connections where the mating half needs to stay put under vibration. Each tin-plated male pin carries 3 A at 250 V max, with the current limit set by the contact and housing temperature rise. The 4-wall shroud and locking ramp protect the pins and keep the pair mated — useful in industrial cabinets or moving equipment.
Note: this part is RoHS non-compliant. If your build requires RoHS, the sibling B16B-PADSS-1(LF)(SN) is the lead-free version — same pitch, same 16 positions, same locking ramp, but tray-packaged instead of bulk.
The B16B-PADSS mates with a JST PAD-series crimp receptacle housing (not included). The mated stack height is 12.4 mm.
