It mates with EH series crimp housings to form a locked, vibration-resistant joint.
Contact length on the mating side is 0.130" (3.30 mm), and the post length is 0.126" (3.20 mm) — enough to clear a standard 1.6 mm board and still have solder tail for a reliable joint. Compared to the 6-position B6B-EH-A, this 5-position version saves one board hole and one wire crimp — the rest of the footprint and electrical ratings are identical.

Locking and termination details
Termination is press-fit, solder — the pins press into the plated through-hole and get wave or hand soldered. The square pin shape gives four contact points in the hole for a consistent solder fillet.
