Rated 10 A per circuit at 250 V, the B5P-VH(LF)(SN) uses tin-plated brass contacts on both the mating and post sides — the tin finish is well-suited for the rated current and typical appliance operating temperatures, though it limits mating cycle life compared to gold. The PA66 nylon housing carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, required for equipment inside an enclosure. The through-hole solder termination with a 0.146" (3.70 mm) post length provides a reliable mechanical anchor on the PCB.
The overall contact length of 0.575" (14.60 mm) includes a 0.303" (7.70 mm) mating section, giving enough wipe for reliable contact even with slight board-to-harness misalignment.
