2-Position SFH Receptacle Housing for Wire-to-Board Harnesses
The JST SFHR-02V-R is a 2-position receptacle housing from the SFH series, designed for wire-to-board interconnect in compact harness assemblies. It accepts female socket crimp terminals (sold separately) and mates with the corresponding SFH series pin header. The 1.80 mm pitch keeps the footprint tight — useful for space-constrained consumer electronics, appliance control boards, and automotive interior modules where every millimeter of board real estate counts. The red housing provides a visual key for assembly line identification, reducing the chance of a mix-up with the yellow SFHR-02V-L variant.
Mounting and Termination — No PCB, Just Crimp
Free-hanging (in-line) mounting means this housing floats on the wire harness — no PCB footprint, no soldering. The crimp termination requires the correct female socket terminal (not included in this housing) and a hand or pneumatic crimp tool. The 1-row, 2-position layout keeps the wire exit simple and the assembly low-profile.
