The JST SHR-05V-S is a 5-position single-row receptacle housing from the SH series, on a tight 0.039" (1.00 mm) pitch. The natural color is the standard unbleached resin — no pigment added, so what you see is the base LCP or nylon material.
Contacts Are Not Included — What Fits
The mating female socket terminal for this housing is the JST SSH-003T-P0.2 (tin-plated) or SSH-003GA-P0.2 (gold-plated), both crimp terminals for 28-32 AWG wire. The male pin header that mates with this receptacle is the BM05B-SRSS-TB or similar SH-series header with 1.00 mm pitch and a mating post length of about 2.5 mm. The crimp tool for the terminal is JST YC-122 or the hand-tool WC-520.
