It carries a 0.098" (2.50mm) pitch across two rows, with the same 0.098" row spacing, giving a compact 2.50mm grid that balances routing density with adequate creepage for moderate-voltage signal and power circuits. The natural-colored housing uses a latch lock for positive retention when mated with the corresponding XAD header — the lock snaps audibly, confirming full engagement in high-vibration environments like automotive interiors or industrial control cabinets. This is a free-hanging (in-line) receptacle, meaning it terminates a cable harness and mates to a board-mounted header. The operating temperature range of -25°C~85°C covers most indoor and under-hood automotive interior applications, though the lower limit means it should not be used in extreme cold-soak environments below -25°C without verifying the housing material's impact resistance at that temperature.
