Single-end turret with staking flare termination
The 1533-1 is a single-end, fork-hollow turret terminal from Keystone Electronics, intended for through-hole mounting with a staking flare termination that secures the terminal to the board after insertion. The brass body carries a tin contact finish; overall length is 0.210" (5.33 mm), with 0.156" (3.96 mm) above the board and 0.054" (1.37 mm) below the flange.
Board-fit dimensions and staking procedure
The flange diameter is 0.093" (2.36 mm); the staking side OD is 0.060" (1.52 mm). The terminal accepts a board thickness of 0.032" (0.81 mm). After through-hole insertion, the staking flare is swaged to lock the terminal in place. No mating housing or crimp terminal is required — the fork-hollow end accepts wire wrap or solder connection directly.
