Single-end PC pin for 0.062" boards
The 1988-2 is a non-insulated PC pin from Keystone Electronics, designed as a single-end terminal for through-hole mounting on 0.062" (1.57mm) thick boards. Gold finish on brass contact material provides corrosion resistance; the 0.018" (0.46mm) diameter above-flange pin accepts wire-wrap or solder connections.
Press-fit pentagon retention
Termination is press-fit with a pentagon-shaped section below the flange — the 0.029" (0.72mm) pentagon diameter locks into a 0.026" (0.66mm) mounting hole without solder. Overall length is 0.215" (5.46mm): 0.125" (3.18mm) above the flange and 0.060" (1.52mm) below, with a flange diameter of 0.056" (1.42mm).
