Through-hole right-angle RCA jack with board lock
The 973 is a female RCA phono jack from Keystone Electronics, configured for mono signal with 2 conductors and 3 contacts. It mounts through-hole right-angle and carries nickel-plated brass and phosphor bronze contacts in a PBT housing with a yellow insulation color.
Mating diameter and internal switching
The jack accepts a 3.20mm ID / 9.00mm OD RCA plug per industry standard and includes a single internal switch that opens on plug insertion — useful for muting a line-level source when a cable is connected. The board lock feature secures the part during wave soldering and provides additional mechanical retention against plug insertion and removal forces.
